What we place, and what we check it against

Materials run across the Wenzhou and Shenzhen clusters; the judgment of where each build belongs — and the inspection it must pass — is ours. This page is the standing reference: every material, branding process and test line, with the failure mode we watch for. If your spec names something that isn't here, ask — the answer is a judgment, not a menu.

01MATERIALS

Every material, placed on the floor that builds it well

MATERIAL WHAT WE RUN WHAT WE CHECK
ACETATE — SHEET Milled and hand-finished; laminated (spliced-color) builds included. Spliced-color work lives or dies on bleed control — clean edges at the splice are an incoming-inspection item, not a promise on a quote.
THIN ACETATE — 2–3 MM Ultra-thin builds on slower, dedicated lines. A 2–3 mm sheet needs a two-step bend to shape without stress — which is exactly why these builds get placed, not improvised.
METAL & TITANIUM Wire and sheet builds, β-titanium included; plating and color coats run on specialist lines. Color coats that hold on metal are one of our standing engineering references — the write-up lives in the golden cases.
INJECTION — TR-90 & PC Sport and volume builds. Checked against the same boxed-lens tolerance as every other build: ±0.5 mm.
MEMORY ALLOY Memory bridges and temples. Checked to return true at −10 °C — cold-weather markets find a weak batch before your customers do.
COMBO — METAL + ACETATE Two materials in one frame. Combos fail at the joints when alignment drifts — alignment is gauged first on the sample and last before packing.

Your logo, and what we check it against

Nine ways to put your name on a frame — each with its own failure mode. Which one survives your market's handling depends on the frame material and the retail price point; that call is part of the engineering review, not an upsell.

03TESTS & COMPLIANCE

The batch answers to the same tests, every time

"Defective" is a measurement, not an argument. Sampling runs per ISO 2859-1; defect classes — critical, major, minor — are agreed in writing before production starts.

Market compliance handled as part of the job: CE (EN ISO 12870 / ISO 12312-1), FDA 21 CFR 801.410, ANSI Z80.3, AS/NZS 1067, REACH, California Prop 65. What fails our inspection does not ship — we have held batches and eaten the delay.
